We’ve been waiting for this for bloody months! The time finally came, yesterday in fact, when the first Wizarding World box from Loot Crate and J.K. Rowling herself arrived on my doorstep. Honestly, it was like my letter from Hogwarts had finally arrived. And I squealed with delight!
Loot Crate specialise in themed subscription boxes crammed full of collectables, exclusive content and apparel from TV/movie favourites, comics and computer games.
J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World box is an exclusive and officially licensed subscription box containing 5-7 items from your favourite book and movie franchise.
Priced at £40.99 and delivered every two months, upon ordering you’re asked for your Shirt size and House – a great personal touch to ensure the perfect contents for you!
Upon opening the box, you’ll find a bright teal lid with the words ‘I WANT TO BE A WIZARD’ spread across it. Yep, accurate and a fantastic start. One thing you can guarantee is consistent through Loot Crate is the interior of the box – always designed perfectly to suit the theme of the box.
The contents leaflet, usually a booklet, took me by surprise… a scroll sealed with wax inspired sticker. I mean, how cool is that scroll?
And then we got to the contents of the box! Starting with a Small and super hyperactive Pigwidgeon plush from Ron Weasley! Because I definitely need more plushies in my life 😉
Next, a POP! Figure. Now, there are plenty to collect and I was delighted to have received this fiesty little Tina Goldstein! Admittedly I do want both the Nifflers so I will have to purchase those at some point.
Loot Crate always include a special pin badge in their boxes, this month did not disappoint… A Bowtruckle pin! The Bowtruckle Pickett is a sweet little creature from Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. You’ll recognise this little guy sitting in Newt’s pocket throughout the film
Next up a fantastic Harry Potter keychain holding three charms; a leather tassle, Hedwig pendant and a bronze envelope from Hogwarts.
Then nestled way at the bottom of the box, a pleather bound notebook embossed beautifully with the MACUSA logo. The edge of the paper is also gold in colour and a plain beige colour. I cannot wait to use this for drawing landscape sketches!
Finally, a t-shirt with a design of The New York Ghost newspaper clipping
Without a doubt, this is my favourite Loot Crate. The contents were better than I ever imagined, you can expect a pin and t-shirt in every Loot Crate. Exclusive goodies and collectables are my favourite part. The final touches like box design and the parchment inspired scroll really made it extra special! Sadly this (the first box) is sold out, however you can subscribe now for the next box.
What do you think about the Wizarding World box from Loot Crate? Is this something you’d subscribe to? I’d love to know so let me know in the comments below
