My Dream Holiday to Spain with Clickstay.com

Can you believe that at the ripe ol’ age of 25, I have never been to Spain? I know, I know, I am absolutely insane. I really do love to travel but I’ve never really thought about heading to Spain and especially not as a dream holiday.. I guess stories from friends have always involved clubbing and alcohol fuelled Spanish island holidays and that just isn’t me. In fact I’ve avoided going on 3 holidays with friends because I don’t want that sort of holiday.

So ClickStay are offering bloggers the chance to win a £1500 holiday to Spain (that’s £1000 Clickstay voucher towards a villa stay in Spain and £500 Flight Centre voucher PLUS £250 voucher for Sunday Somewhere sunglasses!) and all you have to do is share your dream holiday! Winner.

 Accommodation

After searching through their villa listings I came across this beauty in Benalmadena, between Malaga and Marbella. An attractive two storey villa built in traditional Andalucian style, sleeping 8 people in 4 bedrooms with stunning views of the area. It has stunning outdoor areas; a balcony with outdoor dining area and rear garden with large terrace and barbecue set up with shaded seating area – perfect as we all love a barbecue and dining al fresco! And not forgetting a private pool area with sun loungers. Wifi – perfect for sharing our adventures and the stunning villa on Twitter and Instagram. I chose this villa because it has all a group of friends needs to enjoy a fun packed activity holiday!

Dream Holiday Adventures

When I visit a new place I want to see the culture, visit the sights and indulge in the local cuisine. Spain has so much to offer, it’s hard to choose the top things I’d like to experience!

In the local area of Malaga, tour the sights of Alcazaba a stunning fortress and piece of Arabic Architecture in Spain, a Roman Theatre ruins for a piece of history and wander the streets of Plaza de la Constitucion, grab a bite to eat and find a bar – spoilt for choice is a phrase I’ve seen in reviews.

An day trip to the Caves of Nerja, Balcon de Europa for stunning views of the coastline and mountains. Then a walk down to Playa de Burriana to soak up the sun on this gorgeous sandy beach.

An excursion up to El Torcal Natural Park for spectacular walks and views and El Caminito Del Rey for a fantastic walking trail and boardwalks set 105m above the ground in the cliff edge. Not for the faint hearted apparently!
An Eco Tour with Monte Aventura, exploring the natural wonders of the area in a convertible 4X4 and swimming in natural pools.

Being a new Downhill Mountain Biker I have pondered the idea of biking holidays and finding a few companies such as Switch Backs Downhill who offer skills tuition and a range of trails to get down and speedy with!
