So last Saturday I attended my first bloggers party hosted by the lovely Scarlett London. The Party started at around 1.30pm at Dirty Martini, Hanover Square where a huge amount of bloggers met for cocktails and blogging banter!
Dirty Martini is a gorgeous little cocktail bar located just off Oxford Street and Bond Street and nestles safely on a lower ground floor. Once you head downstairs you are greeted by two alcohol filled bars, chandeliers hanging from the ceilings and plush leather seats and stools. There are also two gorgeous little ‘caves’ you can huddles into, one with stools and table, the other with big comfortable leather lounger/bed.

The party was very laid back and informal, cocktails flowing and plenty of natter between groups of bloggers. There were also four brands who came to entertain and inform us on their products; Cloud Nine set up a table for bloggers to try out their hair products; Quiz Clothing who put together a lookbook for the bloggers; Oriflame came to let bloggers try out their beauty products and order samples to blog about and Search Laboratory held a talk to discuss and put together a lovely ‘SEO Tips for Bloggers’ booklet.
I found it all so interesting as I’m new to the blogging world and with it being my first event-type situation.

We enjoyed some seriously delicious cocktails. I had just two cocktails, the first was a Passion fruit Martini made with Beefeater Gin, Passoa, fresh passion fruit juice and garnished with half a fresh passion fruit. My second cocktail was a super sweet Chocolate Martini, made with Absolut Vanilla Vodka, Frangelico hazelnut liqueur, Crème de Cacao shaken
with cream and cocoa and garnished with a chocolate swirl stick. Possibly the best cocktails I’ve ever had, all made so brilliantly.

We all went home with a goody bag containing a vast selection of products to sample including Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, Dirty Works, Kiko and more! I can’t wait to try them all out and review them here on the blog!
We also got plenty of sweets and discount codes to use on various fashion and beauty websites!

Overall I had a really great time and experience at my first bloggers party! I met so many wonderful bloggers both new and ones I avidly followed already! I look forward to future events and parties and to meet with more bloggers!
