Goals for 2015 | Lifestyle

2014 was a big year for me. I set myself a lot of challenges and goals both personal and blogging. I won’t talk to much about it as you can read it and see photos through the year in this post here.
2015 is definitely going to open my eyes to adulthood a little more than before – wedding planning, serious knuckling down to save for both a wedding and a place to call home and attempting to progress in my career. There is so much more I want to do as well.

The important, nitty gritty bits…

Learn to drive

It’s been on my list for so long but I think this year has to be the year to get it done! Wedding planning and looking for a new job which will need me to be able to drive to location at early and late hours. Team that with my love for adventure and I do need a car to do it all!

Progress in my career

Something that I have been wanting to do for the past year. Working on the railway has it’s perks but it’s bloody hard to move on as it’s such a slow paced career path. People just don’t want to move until they retire… le sigh. But I am determined to carry on chundering on and apply apply apply!

Get wedding planning

It’s still early days with wedding planning but already know we don’t want to sit around and wait years to get married. I can’t wait to share some wedding planning stories and maybe even tips (?) with you.

Spend a little, save a lot!

Last year I did save a lot, even with going on holiday. This year I want to up my game and I’m pulling in the fiancΓ© for support too. No more splurging on clothes and beauty products for no reason. I want to do a spending ban challenge with a reward in the ‘piggy’ bank at the end of the month when I succeed!

Some just for fun…

Keep crocheting

I discovered the craft of crocheting late last year and honestly, I have found it to be so therapeutic and rewarding when I finally finish a project. I’m still learning which is why I promise myself I won’t give up. Who knows, maybe I will share some of my projects with you this year…

Start doing yoga

I follow so many fabulous females on Instagram who swear by yoga to keep them relaxed and take the stress of daily life away. It looks so fun, yet challenging. I may spend a little and treat myself to a yoga mat next month…

Blog at least once a week

Last year I took a massive break from blogging to live a little and even though it was the best time of my life, I feel I could have shared so many experiences with you if I had just blogged about them too!
Go out and explore!

Most importantly…

Stay positive

This doesn’t need much explaining, I have a stressful year coming up and I know at some point I’m going to want to give up on my dreams but I am promising myself that I will slow down and take a moment just to think positively, I am only human after all…
