Beauty Winter Essentials | BigBlogmasProject2014

Today I wanted to share a few of my essential fashion pieces but I just couldn’t find the time to sort through everything and photograph, in an ideal world I would have loved to have shared that as an OOTD. But anyway, I decided the next best thing would be my favourite beauty/skincare products that see me through the Winter months!

Weleda Skin food does absolute wonders to my skin in the Winter months. It’s so nourishing, smells rather pleasant and is all natural. I use it as an overnight facial moisturiser for dry areas such as my nose, chin and cheeks and to soothe my extra dry hands that are always exposed to the cold thanks to my job.  A holy grail in my eyes and a product I will repurchase again and again.

Nuxe Reve de Miel is my go to lip product for replenishing wind torn chapped lips. It’s smells sweet like honey and fruits, is incredibly thick and smoothes out lips over night. I use it before bed and then again in the morning for an all day fix.

I find myself reaching for the winged eyeliner look throughout the holiday season. I just don’t suit smoky eyes so Soap and Glory’s Supercat is my go to for winged eyeliner, a light sweep during the day and topping up to superthick dramatic flick for the evening!

Bloggers everywhere will agree that Rimmels Kate Moss 107 is the go-to budget lipstick for the holiday season. And I’m with them on that one! I love the shade, the finish and the lasting power. There’s nothing I love more than a deep red shade in winter, add a bit of gloss in the day to tone it down and then top up to see you through to the evening!

Boots Coconut Oil is surprisingly my go to hair product. I suffer from such dry and brittle hair during the cold months. But when I heard about coconut oil hair treatments I had to try for myself. Rubbing this through my hair and leaving for 6-8 hours before washing out with my favourite shampoo and conditioner, this leaves my hair sleek, smooth and shiny. Barely frizzy (unless I blow dry).

To sort out my pesky blemishes I like to use Origins Out of Trouble mask. My skin can often breakout more thanks to central heating so applying this for 10 minutes a few times a week can dry up those blemishes, take away redness and clear my pores.

Finally, Garnier Intensive 7 Day Hydrating Lotion. This body lotion smooths over the skin easily without leaving a greasy film. It smells gorgeous with shea butter and really does leave my skin feeling replenished and silky smooth for longer than others, which is a plus!

I’d love to know what your beauty winter essentials are so let me know in the comments below!
